2021: Technique: Support: Telephone booth from the 70s. Original color: bright orange. Glass receiving folded, painted and glued papers, cut-out papers, recycled plastic elements, white pencil drawing on black paper. “Swap” with a collector friend. He had found this incredible telephone booth in bright orange. He gave me carte blanche to reinvest it. I wanted to recreate an XXL world in a miniature universe. Offer games of looks, of point of view, in particular by games of transparency and depth. Propose a dense multi-colored virgin forest, a sanctuary for paper birds, a pacifist, neutral and powerful island of love and hope. A swarm of colors, achieve delicacy in profusion: cut-out, assembled, tangled papers. A tribute to the plant, to the living. Everything is organized around a sacred mandala, placed on glass, whose echo is found in a crown of white origami, in the background, like a halo of light. Floating, in water or in the air, like a Garden of Eden, this composition seeks to transport into another poetic dimension. Always with spectral colors, representative of so many natural elements, to remind ourselves that thanks to nature we live; and not to forget the solidarity and acceptance between humans; for more openness and tolerance. To project ourselves here and now, for a better world tomorrow, a world in perpetual evolution, that we can always want a little more harmonious and balanced, pacifist and peaceful.
