Artistic residency of more than one month spent in Brazil with the association Pixo (association which coordinates artistic residences crossed between France and Brazil).
The project took place in the Passo Da Patria neighborhood, an enclave between the railroad and the river, where violence and traffic are the daily life of the inhabitants.
The works were made with and for the children of the district, as EMES crew (Mademoiselle Maurice + SNEZ) to embellish the streets. They were produced on different walls (neighborhood trade, individuals, kiosks, etc.). On some of the walls, the children painted some of the funds and some main areas.
One of the walls was made outside the favela, in the art gallery, with the Brazilian artist Arthur Doomer (black characters). One of the walls (with girl) was also realized with the Brazilian artist Marcello Borges.
Many thanks to Agathae and Arthur and all their families for their invitation, welcome and resources made available for this beautiful socio-cultural project.
